What every entrepreneur must do at the end of every month
The end of the month comes with mixed feelings depending on how the month had gone for you and your business.
Most business owners look forward to the new month believing that it is going to be better than the month than just ended especially when they did not met up with the goals and objectives they set for themselves the previous month.
It’s great to look forward to the new month but its definitely better to achieve your goals during the present month.
So, as business owners, what do we need to do at the end of every month to ensure we get the most of the coming month?
- Review the past month – At the end of the month you need to review the results you have achieved in the past month in the following areas:
- Sales
- Marketing
- Growth percentages
- Inquiries
- Conversions etc.
- >Draw up a plan – Every month you need a grand plan that will be broken down into weekly goals and then daily goals. Without a plan, you will literally just keep doing what you did the previous month which might not result to anything new in terms of profit, positioning or relevance.
- Establish a theme for the month –
- What is the theme for the new month?
- What direction is is the business going for the month?
- How does this theme align to the plan and vision of the company?
- How does the growth of the team / staff tie into this theme?
- Build your content – One thing that takes away a lot of time during the month is preparation of content. The last week of the month should be focused towards build the content for the following platforms:
- Emails
- Etc.
- Product and / or Service Re-Vamp – The most important thing you can do for your business at the end of the month is re-vamp your products and/or services. When you have reviewed your customers feedback, marketing analytics, and all other areas, you will be able to input this information into the re-vamp of your products and / or services to increase your conversion rates in the new month.
